Hello everyone,
Lately, I've been getting asked the question, "Sooo... where is this alleged CD?" I thought I better update you all on this process!

I'm going into the studio in May (the business of life prevented me from recording sooner), so if everything goes as planned, the CD should be out by July! Once I'm actually recording, I will try to give you more regular updates, letting you know how the album is progressing. As for now, I'm just practicing like crazy and trying to get my songs ready for the studio!

Thank you to everyone that has shown an interest in this crazy endeavor of mine! I wouldn't even be attempting it without your encouragement!

My March 1 gig at the Blue Moon was a smashing success--thanks to everyone who came out to the show! And thanks to my lovely friend Jana for opening up the evening with a few of her songs. The place was packed (and very warm!), but I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as I did.

In other exciting news, I have studio time scheduled in May--I will be going to Omaha to start recording my CD! I'm so excited to be undertaking this project! Until then, I have several gigs lined up and some fine tuning to do on my songs. I'll keep you posted!

I'm really looking forward to performing at the Blue Moon Coffee Co. in downtown GI on Saturday, March 1! My friend Jana Thompson, who is an amazing singer, will be opening up the show with some songs of her own! I think it will be a great night of music (and fun, hopefully!), so if you live around Grand Island, NE, come check it out! See the Calendar for more details.

I just put up 4 home demo tracks on Amie Street... a great site for promoting independent music and finding new fans. At first all tracks are free to download... then as more people download them and recommend them, they go up in price, all the way up to 98 cents a track. It's a pretty cool system! It's a great site for finding new music, and I've bought some great tracks for 20 cents or less!

I'm excited to announce the launch of leeshaharvey.com! You know, it feels a bit odd to be making my own website, with my name and face plastered all over the place. I'm hit with a wave of worry--is this a bad idea? Will my friends think I'm a narcissist? Will my second-cousin-twice-removed be the only one that actually visits the site?!?

Obviously, I fought back the worry and jumped in with both feet!
